As I have mentioned before, last few weeks were full of hardwork - storyboarding, set designs, editing and sound designing. Finally I can proudly present you our final short film :)
In a sense we wanted to created something inspired by Stanley Kubricks' style with a George Orwells' 1984 twist. Theme of this video is fight (as we had to choose one of six), presenting 'victim' character rebelling against 'Big Brother'. More info can be found on my DFGA blog >> http://bettyslittleblog.blogspot.co.uk/
And as a special little treat - one of the early concepts ;)
Red Moon Skull. watercolours and ecolines on moleskine sketchbook paper.
Taking a little break from concept drawing for DFGAs brief... Also (little shameless self promotion) above piece is avaible on my S6 account. And not only as an art print, but also iPhone5 case, tote bag and hoody. Even black hoody. Is it wrong to droll over your own merchandise ;)?
I'm back again. And hopefully posting more and on regular basis.
Busy with DFGA stuff. Lots of interesting briefs, but its also a hard work. And they made us set up a blogs to post all developmental work, written stuff and.. anything basically ;) So if you are wondering how college education in UK looks like check my DFGA related blog:
I will be posting lots of step-by-steps and sketches that I wont be showing there (probably only finished work).
Little sketch of character I'm kinda working on now.. for more info visit bettyslittleblog ;) (so creative with names..)
Lots of bad things happen, had fire in small bedroom (everything upstairs been smoke damaged), then had to move to other house. Finally back to our beloved home so can scan and post all of the sketches ;)
Preview Night was so so busy, but also so amazing :) I really enjoyed it, especially seeing other people looking at my work and trying to understand it ;) My little comic boards are located next to entrance gates, basically one of the first things you will see when entering college building ;)
Seen some work by people from other courses, really good stuff.
If you are around Leeds and got some spare time in your hands try to visit LCAD at Vernom Street until this friday (22.06) to see our hard work :)
